New kitchen

I am reluctantly, happily ,

doing a 2 walls down total kitchen remodeling.Possibly the only probelm so far is that everyone is trying to sell me state of the art appliances.I am not a state of the art cook so it is a hurdle.

I lovingly and successfully make many family holiday meals ,I manage to feed Abbey and Jack several times a week, the usual kid things.I specifically eat many of the right things for my health but actually have little interest in what I eat.So when "they" talk of a drawer for marinating a special cut of meat I just glaze over.

I do love to bake but we seem to watch our weight so not quite enough outlet for my visions of gorgeous cakes, except for special events.

August, OMG!!!house organization!

How did this happen? August already! I have loved this summer so much.My Originals have been special and ltd. Just mermaids and bridal and a touch of Christmas.My family life has been so full, Jack is going to kindergarten, Abbey will still be here 3 days a week and the school bus will stop here!again! for milk and cookies for Jack.

swimming, the lake...I began a major kitchen remodel starting yesterday.  I find that I like living with the progress and chaos of household projects.I went to Reno to see Chris, Texas to see relatives, Atlanta to re-do the showroom and Nichole came here to organize me! a huge task!!

Nichole's re-organization was the most amazing event.It has changed the way I feel about all my collections.Photos will begin to give you the idea! If anyone would like, I could send you a snapfish  album of what nichole did for me and my house.
